House-shaped haniwa, Iegata-haniwa
A variety of representational haniwai made during the Kofun period which models a house or a repository of those days. They show roofs of all forms such as irimoya, kiri-zuma, yosemune, and kata-nagare yane. Some have katsuo-gi and/or chi-gi set on the roof ridge.
