1892 Japanese painter Heihachiro FUKUDA was born in Oita Prefecture
1918 Graduated from the Kyotoshiritsukaigasenmongakko (now Kyoto City University of Arts)
1919 Won his first prize at the Teiten Exhibition
1936 Took office as the professor of the Kyotoshiritsukaigasenmongakko
1961 Given the Order of Culture
Received an award as the first honorary citizen by Oita City
1974 Heihachiro FUKUDA passed away
